EAR CORRECTION

EAR CORRECTION

Correcting protruding ears is the most common reason for surgery in this area. These can be performed from the age of 5 to 6, as the ear is already fully developed at this age.

The procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia, though a general anesthetic may be necessary for children. The shape, size, and position of the ears are enhanced through delicate cartilage incisions and sutures.

The incision is made behind the ear, ensuring that any scars remain discreet and well-hidden.
