HYALURONSÄURE

The treatment of wrinkles with hyaluronic acid ("fillers") has changed fundamentally in recent years. While many practices still mainly "inject" individual wrinkles, we have been carrying out holistic facial treatments since the introduction of the first Vycross products (e.g. Voluma®, Volbella®, Vollift®).

The individual wrinkle is no longer the focus of treatmentInstead, we advise you – using the Harmony Concept®, among other things – regarding your individual facial anatomy, your skin condition and natural aging processes.

Was ist HYALURONSÄURE?

Hyaluronic acid is a highly water-binding glycosaminoglycan (sugar molecule) that stimulates collagen formation in the human body and gives the skin firmness and elasticity thanks to its excellent water-binding capacity. Unfortunately, the concentration of hyaluronic acid decreases over time, resulting in loss of volume, wrinkles and loss of firmness.

Wrinkle treatment with the Dermafiller hyaluronic acid binds the skin's moisture and gives it back its vital radiance. The very different hyaluronic acid products ("fillers") available mean that almost any wrinkle on the face, neck and hands can be treated. For example, different products are available for the delicate laugh lines around the eyes ("crow's feet") than for volume contouring of the cheek. All of the products we use are biodegradable and do not need to be tested for allergic reactions beforehand.

Frequently asked questions about hyaluronic acid treatment

  • How does the treatment with hyaluronic acid work?

The domain of wrinkle treatment with hyaluronic acid products is static wrinkles, i.e. all those wrinkles that arise due to gravity and the aging process. In addition, volume deficits that have arisen can be balanced out using cross-linked, thicker product variants (e.g. Voluma®, Emervel Volume® or Belotero Intense®) and the facial contours can be significantly accentuated and improved. For finer to medium-deep wrinkles, products with a more moderate concentration of hyaluronic acid (e.g. Volbella®, Vollift®, Emervel classic®, etc.) are available.

  • Which areas of the body can be treated?

The typical areas of application in wrinkle therapy with hyaluronic acid products are:

  • How long does the result last?

Since we only use products that break down over time, the result is not permanent and should be repeated at regular intervals. However, the durability depends on the product used. With our Vycross products (eg Voluma®, Volbella®, Vollift ®) we can achieve effects that last up to 18 months.

  • What is a liquid lift?

Liquid lifting is a minimally invasive method that allows you to rejuvenate your face without surgery. It not only smoothes out individual wrinkles, but also rejuvenates larger areas and restores lost volume.

  • Are there any risks and side effects?

Fortunately, pure, synthetically produced hyaluronic acid poses hardly any risks. Small bruises and reddening of the skin can occur directly during the treatment. Swelling and skin irritations subside after a short time, as do the small bruises, which you can cover up with makeup immediately after they appear.

  • How much does it cost?

We will discuss the costs with you during the first consultation (during which the first treatment may also take place). They depend on the complexity of the treatment and the amount and type of products used.
