A Facelift Without Scalpel

Thread Lift: An alternative to the Real Facelift.

In addition to treating wrinkles with the help of hyaluronic acid (fillers) and/or neurotoxic proteins. For years, we’ve been offering a gentle way to tighten facial skin without surgery: the thread lift.

During this treatment, special threads are carefully placed into the fatty tissue or deep dermis under local anesthesia—no incisions needed. These threads lift and support the skin, with results visible right away. Over the next few months, the threads also stimulate collagen production, enhancing the effect even further.

Since the procedure is minimally invasive, recovery time is short. Side effects like swelling or small bruises around the injection points usually disappear within a few days.

Frequently asked questions about the Thread Lift treatment.

  • How does a Thread Lift work?

The Thread Lift is an innovative procedure for facial rejuvenation, whereby the natural facial features are preserved. It is a minimally invasive method without surgery and can be performed in our practice.

  • Who is the Thread Lift suitable for?

We use the Thread Lift both on its own and in combination with neurotoxins, fillers, or radiofrequency therapy.

This treatment is ideal for patients who are unhappy with visible excess skin on the face or neck but find surgical procedures too invasive or feel a full facelift isn’t necessary yet. With our wide range of PDO threads, we can also tailor treatments for younger patients, offering options like lip contouring or adding volume to the cheeks.

Feel free to reach out to us—we’ll be happy to discuss the options that best suit your needs!

  • How long does the result last?

The first positive results are visible immediately after the treatment. The full success of the treatment is apparent after about 6-8 weeks during the course of the thread resorption and the build-up of collagen. The result lasts up to 2 years and the procedure can be repeated without any problems and can also be combined with other lifting and filler methods.

  • What are the risks and side effects, and how long is the recovery time after treatment?

Immediately after the treatment, local swelling and temporary pain in the treatment area may occur. Small bruises/hematures may sometimes occur. These usually heal after 1 week. Serious complications are generally not to be expected, but we will of course explain all possible complications to you in detail in a personal consultation and information session.

  • What can I expect?

Our goal is a holistic treatment to optimize your appearance. To do this, we will respond to your individual wishes and ideas and work out a treatment plan together with you. The initial consultation will therefore take at least 30 minutes. Since treatment strategies have changed enormously in recent years, we like to combine the facial treatment with hyaluronic acid products, skin boosters, radio frequency therapy and neurotoxin treatments. The result is a fresher, smoother, but still natural facial expression.

  • How much does it cost?

The costs vary from individual to individual and depend on the type and quantity of threads used. Prices start at €200.00. A detailed cost plan will be drawn up for you during the detailed consultation. Our prices always include the sales tax required for aesthetic procedures.

Stay Young and Beautiful Without Surgery
Preserve Your Natural Facial Features

An innovative procedure for facial rejuvenation

The natural facial features are preserved with a Thread Lift. It is a so-called minimally invasive method without surgery and can be performed in our practice.

Using the finest needles, PDO threads are carefully placed under the skin in a net-like pattern.
PDO (polydioxanone) is an absorbable material that has been safely used as surgical suture material for many years. These threads stimulate the skin's natural collagen production, leading to smoother and tighter skin. For sagging areas like cheeks, eyebrows, or nasolabial folds, special barbed threads (BARB threads) are used. These threads have tiny hooks that provide an additional mechanical lifting effect.

A mild numbing cream, applied about 30 minutes before the procedure, is usually sufficient to ensure comfort. For treatments involving stronger BARB threads, a local anesthetic is injected near the puncture site, making the procedure entirely painless.

The treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area and complexity. Afterward, you can enjoy a soothing facial mask to complete the experience.
